Visiting Mrs. Kennedy

President Kennedy took his two children and their pet dog, Charlie, to visit Mrs. Kennedy in the hospital Monday before returning to Washington for a meeting with two cabinet members on the nuclear test ban treaty. Mrs. Kennedy is recovering from Caesarean surgery so satisfactorily doctors allowed the children to visit her at the same time. They were much more excited about the hospital visit and the 12-minute helicopter ride between Squaw Island, the summer White House, and Otis Air Force Base that was Charlie, the Welsh terrier.
