Mrs. Humphrey Scolds Ginger
Caption 1: "Vice-president Hubert Humphrey , wearing his best smile and sporting his usual unsinkable optimism, came home for Christmas Tuesday. Among other thing, he neatly dodged questions on his popularity with voters and why he wasn’t going to Vietnam, unveiled a new office complex and new ‘heir apparent’— a black poodle with the handle of Ginger Heidi Humphrey. The Office had a formal housebroken look; the poodle didn’t. In a minor policy declaration, the vice-president announced: ‘She (wife Muriel) told me it (Ginger Heidi) was house-broken.
